The 57 points were Winthrop’s lowest total of the season by a nine-point margin. They’ll match up way better versus Longwood.

Speaking of Longwood, the Lancers rolled right past Averett in their last game thanks to 66.1 percent shooting, a 40-19 rebounding edge and a 66-16 advantage on points in the paint. Longwood did cough up 16 turnovers but much of that stemmed from garbage time. The Lancers have a combined 166 points over their last two games and should give Winthrop a nice challenge.
