Western Carolina vs. UNC-Greensboro prediction
I’m with UNC-Greensboro in this one. I’ll give Western Carolina some credit as the Catamounts have found ways at times to be competitive this season and they do have some close losses on their resume in conference play. However, I’d be willing to make a case that UNC-Greensboro is one of the top three teams in the SoCon and that Western Carolina from a talent and metric perspective is still one of the worst. We’ve seen Western Carolina get crushed just as often as they’ve hung around this season and we just saw UNC-Greensboro smack around the Citadel. A similar result wouldn’t shock me in the slightest here. I think that UNC-Greensboro gets the job done at home and bags themselves a win and cover in this one.
