VMI vs. Mercer Prediction
I’m leaning towards Mercer in this game. I’m starting to think that the VMI of old is starting to rear its ugly head, the VMI that was the cellar dweller of the SoCon far more often than not over the last few years. Mercer has been struggling, but the Bears have owned this matchup, winning 5 straight meetings and 9 of the last 10 and also covering in 7 of those 10 meetings as well even though they didn’t cover in a three-point win at VMI earlier this year. I just think Mercer gets that bounce-back win at home here so give me the Bears laying the points.
