The Panthers are shooting 49% from the field this year, but their defense has also been very good for most of the season. Valparaiso has won three of their last five games, but they are shooting just 42.9% from the field this year. The Beacons did win the lone regular-season meeting with Northern Iowa by a score of 80-73, but that was back in January.
