The Gamecocks are coming off a pretty nice win over Kennesaw State in a home matchup this past weekend, posting 46.3 percent shooting with a 34-26 rebounding advantage and a 30-22 edge on points in the paint. Jacksonville State is 5-1 in their last six games, scoring 71 or more points in each of the last four victories.

As for UTEP, they shot just 39.1 percent from the field with 13 turnovers in their overtime victory at home versus New Mexico State this past weekend. The Miners are a sketchy 2-3 in their last five games but they’ve won two of the last three. I don’t think they’ll quite keep a cover pace on the road here, though.
