Thomas Dowd added 19 points with 12 rebounds for a double-double of his own, and Victor Valdes had 24 points with five boards.

I’ll probably just stick with Troy. The Trojans fought a valiant battle versus USC in their last matchup but fell just short. Troy didn’t shoot all that well from the field (40.2 percent) but made up for it on a 56-35 rebounding advantage and 46-36 on points in the paint. The Trojans’ 18 turnovers didn’t help matters much, though. Troy has been scoring pretty well overall this season (thanks to some overtime games) but they’ve also got a couple of dud totals in the books.

As for Toledo, they were able to handle Youngstown State pretty well in their last outing. The Rockets have 73 or more points in all five games so far; we could have a fairly high total in this one if both teams are on point.
