I’ll lean toward BYU but you could make a case the other way. The Cougars had a little more trouble than they probably should have in their road win over a middling Utah team last weekend. BYU managed 50 percent shooting from the field with a 41-33 rebounding edge in that one, but also shot a tepid 23 percent (6-of-26) from outside and gave up 46 percent shooting to the Utes on defense. Still, a win is a win, and BYU now has 12 in a row. The Cougars are scoring great as well; they’ve hit 83 or more points in seven straight outings.

As for TCU, they gave up 51 percent shooting and had 12 turnovers in their loss to a great Arizona team at Schollmaier Arena last weekend. The Frogs shot 42 percent from the field themselves with a 38-32 rebounding deficit and 13 team assists to the Wildcats’ 21 helpers. TCU is still 6-2 in their last eight games though, with the only other defeat coming in overtime on the road versus a very good Kansas squad. The Frogs could surprise people here with a nice road performance if all goes well.
