Stetson Hatters Betting Preview
It’s been a pretty rocky road this season for the Hatters. Stetson was able to win just three of their first 11 games this year, then hit a 4-3 stretch with wins over Rhodes, North Alabama, Lipscomb and West Georgia. The Hatters lost four of the next five games though, versus Queens U, Lipscomb, Austin Peay and North Alabama. That makes for an 8-15 record over the first 23 games this year.
In the North Alabama matchup last weekend, the Hatters were sitting in the locker room with a 34-29 deficit at the break. Stetson came back a bit from there on a 37-34 run and made a game of it but still lost in the end at home 68-66. Collin Kuhl was the team’s leading scorer with 23 points and eight boards, while Finley Sheridan had 11 points with eight rebounds and three assists.
Bellarmine Knights Betting Preview
Over on the Bellarmine side, they weren’t able to stay above .500 through their first 11 games this year on a 5-6 run overall. The Knights lost to Kentucky, West Georgia, Queens U, North Alabama, Lipscomb and Eastern Kentucky in the next seven games, then beat Jacksonville, West Georgia and Queens U during a 3-1 run. Over 22 outings that makes for a 9-13 record so far.
Matched up against Queens U on Saturday the Knights were clinging to a slim one-point lead 39-38 as the second half began. Bellarmine posted a 39-37 edge the rest of the way and eked out the home victory in the end 78-75. Jack Karasinski put up 18 points with three rebounds and two assists while Kenyon Goodin had 16 points with two assists in 38 minutes of work.

Stetson vs Bellarmine Prediction
I’ll stick with Bellarmine I suppose. Probably not touching this one, though. The Knights were able to power past Queens U last weekend thanks to 50.9 percent shooting from the field and a nice 88.9 percent (16-of-18) from the line. The 30-26 rebounding edge was nice as well. Bellarmine has won three of the last four games, scoring 77 or more points in all of those. The Knights are giving up quite a bit on the other side these days too, however.
As for Stetson, they shot a tepid 40.4 percent from the field in their latest loss to North Alabama last weekend, giving up 48.1 percent on the other side. The Hatters are on a 1-4 skid right now, giving up 73 or more points in four of those five games.
