As we conclude, we will tie it all together with a summary that produces a sensible pick for a favorable betting outcome in this game.

Saint Thomas-MN Tommies Betting Preview

Through their first 10 games of the season the Tommies went 6-4 with losses to Saint Mary’s, Washington State, Cal State Fullerton and Montana State. Saint Thomas-MN has since hit a nice win streak over Weber State, Saint John’s MN, UNC Asheville, UC Riverside, North Central MN, Denver, South Dakota and Oral Roberts. Over 18 games so far that gives the Tommies a 14-4 record in the books.

Back on Saturday in their game versus Oral Roberts, the Tommies were up by three points 43-40 at halftime. St. Thomas-MN finished up on a 39-31 run from there and took the envetual win 82-71 in the end. Nick Janowski led the team on a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds alongside two assists. Isaiah Johnson-Arigu added 17 points with three rebounds as well.

North Dakota Fighting Hawks Betting Preview

Over on the Hawks’ side, they limped to a 3-8 opening record this year with wins over only Mayville State, UC Riverside and Western Illinois. North Dakota has gone 6-3 in the nine games since however, beating Crown College, Winthrop, Dakota State, Oral Roberts, South Dakota State and Kansas City. In their first 20 games of the season, that gives the Hawks a 9-11 record in the books.

Over the weekend in the Kansas City road matchup, the Fighting Hawks entered the second half with a 44-37 deficit. North Dakota fought back on a 44-35 run from there and took the victory in the end 81-79. Garrett Anderson put up 22 points with two rebounds and Greyson Uelmen added 13 points with four assists. Josh Jones put up 11 points with 11 rebounds for a double-double as well.

St. Thomas-MN vs North Dakota Prediction

I’ll take a stab on North Dakota but I could see this one going the other way as well. The Hawks posted a nice comeback road win over a struggling UMKC team last weekend, shooting 46.8 percent from the field with just five turnovers and a 32-20 edge on points in the paint. North Dakota shot just 14-of-24 (58.3 percent) at the line however, and got out-rebounded 33-23. The Hawks have won four of their last five games, with 72 or more points scored in all five of those outings.

As for St. Thomas-MN, they didn’t have a ton of issues versus Oral Roberts in a road win last weekend, thanks to 48.2 percent shooting, a 36-28 rebounding edge and just five turnovers. The Tommies weren’t great from 3-point range on 5-of-21 (23.8 percent) however. Still, St. Thomas-MN is riding a nice eight-game win streak with 80 or more points scored in all of those games. North Dakota is really going to have to hit the gas on offense in this one.

Andrew Jett's Pick: North Dakota Fighting Hawks +9
