Southern Miss vs Coastal Carolina Prediction
I’ll just stick with Coastal Carolina in this one. The Chanticleers had a slow second half in their win over Texas State this week, but were able to hang on for the home victory in the end. Coastal Carolina shot a tepid 41.5 percent from the field with a 32-26 deficit on points in the paint, however the 1-of-13 (7.7 percent) effort from 3-point range by the Bobcats certainly helped out. The Chanticleers have won four straight games now, scoring 72 or more points in each of the last three.
As for Southern Miss, they shot just 37.9 percent from the field with a 41-29 rebounding deficit in their latest loss to Georgia State. The Eagles are 0-3 over the last trio, with fewer than 68 points scored in each of those. That said, Southern Miss had won four straight prior to that losing run.
