North Dakota State vs North Dakota Prediction
I’m going to take a stab on North Dakota. The Hawks started out slowly in their win over South Dakota this week but ended up pulling it off. North Dakota shot 44.4 percent from the field in that one with a 35-31 rebounding edge and just seven turnovers. The Hawks are 6-1 in their last seven games with 72 or more points scored in every one of those outings.
As for North Dakota State, they had a nice first half in the home win over Omaha last weekend. The Bison ended up shooting 50 percent from the field with just five turnovers and a 38-28 advantage on points in the paint, but also gave up 52.6 percent shooting on defense and got out-rebounded slightly 26-25. If North Dakota plays well in this home matchup, I think the Hawks can power out a cover. Should be a fun matchup regardless.
