Montana vs Portland State Prediction
I’ll take a stab on Portland State but you could call this one either way. The Vikings are coming off a solid road win over a pretty solid Idaho team last weekend, shooting 48.1 percent from the field and 46.2 percent (6-of-13) from outside along with just nine turnovers. Portland State got out-rebounded 32-28 but held a 38-26 advantage on points in the paint in the victory. The Vikings have won seven straight games now, but they’ve been below 70 points in each of the last three.
As for Montana, they hit 47.4 percent from the field with a 34-22 advantage on points in the paint in their most recent win over Idaho State. The Grizzlies are 6-2 in their last eight games and they’ve won the last three straight. We should have a pretty good matchup here if both teams play to their capabilities.
