Johni Broome leads the Tigers across the board, averaging a double-double per game with team-highs of 17.9 PPG, 10.7 RPG, and 3.3 APG along with 2.7 BPG, but could miss this game because of injury, while Chad Baker-Mazara has 12.7 PPG with 3.7 RPG and 2.7 APG. Mississippi State vs. Auburn Prediction

I’m on Mississippi State with the points here. I think that the absence of Johni Broome looms large here with Auburn clearly looking like he’s needed to help the Tigers get over the hump in some of their recent games. I won’t lie, I haven’t loved how Auburn has looked in terms of playing in a lot of close games as of late, and Mississippi State is no slouch coming into this one. I think the Bulldogs will be up for this game especially coming off of a loss and going into a tough environment against one of the toughest teams in the country. I look for a concerted effort from Mississippi State and for the Bulldogs to flirt with the outright upset here. Give me Mississippi State and the points.

Chris Ruffolo's Pick: Mississippi State +7.5
