In the first game Loyola Marymount was able to beat Life Pacific 99-56 but the last game wasn’t as strong. In the last game against UC Irvine though it wasn’t as pretty as they ended up losing. The defense gave up only 66 points, but the offense only managed 51 points and that led to the 15 point defeat. At halftime they were down 36-23 and in the second half they couldn’t bounce back as they ended up losing by 15 points. Jevon Porter was the top player for the Lions putting up 19 points and 12 rebounds. Two of the starters didn’t scor ea point and that type of offensive production can’t happen again. 

Still Some Questions for Saint Louis

In the first game of the season against Santa Clara they scored 78 points but the defense gave up 85 points and that led to the defeat. In the last game against Availa, a non D1 team, it was a different story as they were able to win in blowout fashion. Saint Louis scored 51 points in the second half and ended up cruising to the victory. Gibson Jimerson had a huge game putting up 28 points and four rebounds. There were three different layers that put up at least 15 points. The offense is going to need to be strong early. 

Loyola Marymount vs Saint Louis Prediction

Give me Loyola Marymount in this game. I really don’t like the way the defense looked in the first game of the season for Saint Louis and and they are going to really struggle here. Loyola Marymount scored 99 points in the first game and the yare going to find some offensive success here. Saint Louis is going to have no answer and Loyola Marymount will cover the spread here. This is one of my favoirte plays of the day.
