Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Betting Preview

Louisiana has four games in the bag so far. They played Ball State in their opener on November 3. The Cajuns had a lead 29-28 by halftime, then got outscored 47-35 in the second in a 75-64 loss. Tops in scoring was Jamyron Keller with 21 points and four assists in 34 minutes. Jaxon Olvera put up 13 points and six boards, while De’Vion Lavergne had 10 points with four rebounds and four assists. Game two went better for the Cajuns, as they took on Southeastern LA. Louisiana scored 34 points in the first half and held on for the win 58-52. Jaxon Olvera led the team this time with 20 points and five rebounds alongside two assists. As for game three, the Cajuns played Tulane on November 11 and fell back into the loss column. Louisiana held a one-point lead at the break, then got outscored 37-32 in a 66-62 result. Jaxon Olvera was tops this time on 19 points and four rebounds. De’Vion Lavergne added 11 points with seven rebounds and three assists.

Matched up against McNeese State for game four back on Friday, the Cajuns were drilled 37-16 in the first half. Louisiana didn’t get any closer on a 51-46 run from there and took the loss 88-62 in the end. Tops in scoring was Dorian Finister with 25 points and five rebounds. Jaxon Olvera added 12 points with seven boards, and De’Vion Lavergne had 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes of work during the losing effort.

Stanford Cardinal Betting Preview

Over on the Cardinal’s side, they’ve only played three games so far this year. The opener came on November 4 versus Portland State, and Stanford did pretty well. The Cardinal turned a 37-30 halftime lead into an 89-79 victory in the end. Ebuka Okorie led the team with his 26 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Chisom Okpara had 21 points with three rebounds and one assist, while Jeremy Dent-Smith put up 14 points, three rebounds and two assists. As for game two, Stanford got another victory. This time it was over Montana, and the Cardinal poured in 56 second-half points in a 91-68 result. Ebuka Okorie led again with 29 points and four boards, while Benny Gealer got in on the action with 13 points in 27 minutes of court time.

In their latest outing versus Montana State on Wednesday, the Cardinal held a rather modest 36-31 edge at the break. Stanford hit 41 more points from there though, and won it 77-68. Ebuka Okorie put up a team-high 21 points with three assists and two rebouns. Benny Gealer had 16 points with four rebounds, and Chisom Okpara had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes out there on the court.

Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns @ Stanford Cardinal Betting Trends: November 18, 2025

Why the Stanford Cardinal will win

  • Stanford has won eight of its last nine games at Maples Pavilion.
  • Louisiana has lost eight of its last 10 night games against non-Conference opponents.

Louisiana vs Stanford Prediction

I’ll just stay with Stanford here. The Cardinal are looking pretty solid so far with three wins, and this is a good opportunity to keep the run going. Stanford shot a solid 45.2 percent from the field versus Montana State, but the 3-point shooting could have been a bit better at 5-of-19 (26.3 percent). In any case, Stanford was strong up front with 34 rebounds and 46 points in the paint. That makes 77 or more points in all three games so far for the Cardinal. If they can keep it going Tuesday I don’t think the Cajuns will keep any kind of pace.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Stanford Cardinal -18.5
