I’ll stay with Longwood. The Lancers will need a better start here than they got against a struggling USC Upstate team in their last outing, though. Longwood eventually got going in that blowout win, shooting 48.3 percent from the field with a 41-33 rebounding edge and 31 points off 19 Spartans turnovers. That makes five wins in the last half-dozen outings for Longwood, who has scored 76 or more points in all six of those matchups.

As for Gardner-Webb, they’ve been below 56 points in two of the last four games (a 1-3 run) and probably won’t put up a ton of points here either. Longwood should be in control if all goes according to plan.
