Little Rock Trojans Betting Preview
The Trojans have had a pretty rough year overall despite opening the season on a .500 stretch. During their 2-2 start, Little Rock beat Arkansas Baptist and Ball State around losses to Milwaukee and Marquette. The Trojans have since lost three straight games to Murray State, Texas State and Southern Illinois though, giving the team a 2-5 record through seven games so far this year.
In the Southern Illinois matchup on Saturday, the Trojans held a four-point advantage heading into the second half. Little Rock was outscored 45-32 from there however, resulting in a 74-65 loss in the end. Tops in scoring was Kachi Nzeh with 17 points, two boards and two assists. The only other player in double-figures during the defeat was Johnathan Lawson with 16 points and 10 assists in 40 minutes for a double-double.
Central Arkansas Bears Betting Preview
Over on the Bears’ side, they struggled in their first five games this year on a 1-4 run. Central Arkansas beat only Champion Christian in that time, falling otherwise versus North Carolina, Arkansas, Samford and North Texas. Since then it’s been a pair of wins over Eastern Washington and Eastern Illinois, then a loss to East Tennessee State. That gives the Bears a 3-5 overall run through their first eight games this season.
Matched up against East Tennessee State on Saturday, the Bears came out of the gate with a 37-30 deficit in the first half. Things got worse from there as Central Arkansas hit a 43-27 deficit in an 80-57 loss. Luke Moore was tops on the team with 13 points, three boards and three assists in the defeat. Camren Hunter barely made double-figures with 10 points alongside four rebounds in 25 minutes of work on the floor as well.

Little Rock vs Central Arkansas Prediction
I’ll lean toward Central Arkansas, but I’m probably avoiding this one. There’s not a lot to get excited about here if you’re not a fan of either team. In any case, the Bears got beaten pretty badly by a solid ETSU team in their last outing, shooting an ugly 31.7 percent from the field with 13 turnovers and a 34-10 deficit on points in the paint. The Bucs shot 51.7 percent on the other side and had a 37-31 rebounding advantage. The Bears had scored a combined 173 points in their previous two games, so the 57-point total was quite a letdown.
As for Little Rock, they shot very well (51.9 percent) from the field in their loss to Southern Illinois but also gave up 59.6 percent shooting on the other side in addition to a 27-20 rebounding deficit and 16 turnovers. Little Rock has been below 69 points in five straight games now, losing four of those outings.
