The Lafayette Leopards and the Saint Joseph’s Hawks meet Monday in college basketball action from the Michael J. Hagan ’85 Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Lafayette Leopards vs. Saint Joseph’s Hawks prediction.
Lafayette Leopards Team Preview
The Lafayette Leopards come into the 2025-26 season looking to shake off a subpar 2024-25 campaign where they went 12-19 overall including 7-11 in Patriot League play. The Leopards would knock off Holy Cross in the first round of the Patriot League tournament before falling to American in the quarterfinals. Caleb Williams is the top returning scorer for Lafayette after logging 11 PPG and 3.7 RPG while Andrew Phillips is also back after ghipping in 9.5 PPG and 4.8 RPG as well last year. This is a Lafayette team that has a lot of upside, and in the Patriot League it looks like for a conference that has a fair amount of volatility, that Lafayette may be a year away from being a year away.Saint Joseph’s Hawks Team Preview
The Saint Joseph’s Hawks come into the 2025-26 season hoping to build on a decent 2024-25 season that saw them finish 22-13 overall including 11-7 in A-10 conference play. The Hawks won the Big 5 classic with wins over Villanova, Penn and La Salle, and made it to the finals of the A-10 tournament, knocking off La Salle and Dayton before losing to George Mason in the semifinals. The Hawks would go to the NIT but would be dispatched quickly by UAB in the first round. The Hawks have a lot of re-tooling to do with a pair of pros in Xzayvier Brown and Erik Reynolds II as well as Rasheer Fleming who were faces of the Hawks program, but Deuce Jones II comes over from La Salle after logging 12.5 PPG and there’s a lot of potential with Justice Ajogbor and Anthony Finkley in Saint Joseph’s frontcourt. It’s going to be a work in progress for Steve Donahue, but the pieces are there for Saint Joseph’s to pull off some upsets in 2025-26.Lafayette Leopards @ Saint Joseph’s Hawks Betting Trends: November 3, 2025
