Hampton vs Norfolk State Prediction

I’ll lean toward Norfolk State in this one. The Spartans have to get over a rough and listless loss to Towson last week, though. Norfolk State shot a miserable 27.7 percent from the field, 12.5 percent (2-of-16) from outside and 3-of-11 (27.3 percent) from the line—not to mention posting a 43-34 rebounding deficit. Otherwise there were a few things the Spartans did well, such as the 28-16 advantage in the paint, the six turnovers and the 28.8 percent shooting allowed. Still, it was an ugly game; it’s not often you see a team stall out at 41 points. Norfolk State has been below 58 points in consecutive games now (losing both) so it’d be nice to see some offensive life in this one.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Norfolk State Spartans -1
