Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Betting Preview
The Yellow Jackets opened the season with a tricky matchup last Monday versus Maryland Eastern Shore. The Jackets were up by three at the break but needed overtime to carve out an eventual 56-52 win. Mohamed Sylla was the team’s leading scorer with a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. The only other Yellow Jacket to finish in double-figures was Kowacie Reeves with 12 points, four rebounds and four assists. Jaeden Mustaf chipped in nine points with five rebounds in 35 minutes. Game two versus Bryant on Friday went better for Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets were up 39-22 after one half, then cruised on a 35-23 run on the way to a blowout win 74-45. Tops in scoring was Reeves this time with 18 points and two assists. Akai Fleming added 14 points in 22 minutes, and Sylla doubled up on 10 points with 11 rebounds and three assists in the win. Baye Ndongo chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes as well.
On Monday versus Southeastern Louisiana, the Yellow Jackets were again in trouble at halftime with a 31-29 deficit. Georgia Tech closed on a 41-29 run though, and powered out the 70-60 comeback win. Mohamed Sylla doubled up on 16 points with 10 rebounds, and Lamar Washington had 13 points with six rebounds and three assists. Both Akai Fleming and Kowacie Reeves added 12 points apiece, combining for seven rebounds in the victory effort.
Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview
Over on the Georgia side, they opened their year with an easy matchup versus Bellarmine last Monday. The Bulldogs were ahead by 20 at the break then scored 55 more points in a 104-59 blowout win. Both Blue Cain and Jeremiah Wilkinson put up 15 points each while combining for six rebounds. Jake Wilkins added 12 points with two rebounds in 14 minutes of work in the win. Georgia Tech vs Georgia Prediction
I’ll stay with Georgia. The Bulldogs have waltzed through three games so far and shouldn’t have a ton of issues here either. In the win over Morehead State this week, Georgia put up 41 rebounds and 50 points in the paint alongside 29 team assists and just nine turnovers. The Bulldogs shot quite well on 56 percent from the field and 17-of-37 (45.9 percent) from outside. That makes 94 or more points in all three games for the Bulldogs, and 104 or more in two of those—all of which were wins. This one should be pretty similar.
