The Hornets shot just 37.5 percent from the field and 22.2 percent (4-of-18) from outside in their latest loss to Bethune-Cookman, giving up 15 turnovers and getting out-rebounded 37-24 in the process. Alabama State is just 1-3 in their last four games, giving up 69 or more points in all four of those outings.

As for Florida A&M, they shot only 39.2 percent from the field with 12 turnovers in their road loss to Alabama A&M over the weekend. The Rattlers did have a better second half, though. Florida A&M has now lost consecutive games, scoring 65 points in each of those. They’ve been below 67 points in four straight outings as well. If nothing else, Monday’s matchup should be pretty competitive.
