The Blue Demons didn’t have too many issues with Gardner-Webb in their last outing, shooting a smooth 55.4 percent from the field with 13-of-16 (81.3 percent) from the line, 29 team assists and a 48-30 advantage on points in the paint. If there are areas to complain about (however minor), it’s in rebounding (a 35-32 deficit) or turnovers (14). It’s been a decent run for DePaul so far—outside of a rough loss to Buffalo and a two-point defeat by Northwestern. The Blue Demons have been scoring well with 72 or more points in four of five games. If they can keep that run going DePaul should be looking good.
