Cincinnati Bearcats Betting Preview
The Bearcats had a nice opening run this year but they’ve been pretty choppy since then. Cincinnati beat Western Carolina, Georgia State, Dayton and Mount St. Mary’s in their first four outings. Since then the Bearcats are just 2-3 however, with wins over NJIT and Tarleton State mixed among losses to Louisville, Eastern Michigan and Xavier in that time. Overall that gives the Bearcats a 6-3 record across the first nine outings of the year.
In the Xavier matchup back on December 5, the Bearcats went into the second half with a 37-37 tie. Cincinnati was outscored 42-37 the rest of the way however, leading to a tough loss 79-74. Shon Abaev led the team on 16 points with three rebounds and two assists while Day Day Thomas had 15 points, three boards and three assists. Baba Miller added 10 points with 17 rebounds and six assists in the losing effort as well.
Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview
Over on the Georgia side, they kicked off the season with wins in each of their first half-dozen outings. Those victories came versus Bellarmine, Maryland Eastern Shore, Morehead State, Georgia Tech, Florida A&M and Xavier. After an overtime loss to Clemson, Georgia has since beaten Tennessee Tech and Florida State in the last pair. Overall though nine games that gives the Bulldogs a nice 8-1 record so far this season.
Matched up against Florida State back on December 2, the Bulldogs were up comfortably 49-30 at the break. Georgia hit a 58-43 run the rest of the way in a 107-73 blowout road win. The Bulldogs’ Jeremiah Wilkinson was tops on 22 points with four assists, and Blue Cain added 17 points with seven rebounds and five assists. Kanon Catchings had 17 points with six boards as well.

Cincinnati vs Georgia Prediction
I’ll stick with Georgia here. The Bulldogs have a couple of nice wins in the bag after their OT loss to Clemson, including last week’s blowout over FSU at Donald L Tucker Center. Georgia shot a stellar 57.1 percent from the field in that one with a 44-21 edge on the boards and a 56-38 advantage on points in the paint, but did cough up 14 turnovers along the way. The Bulldogs have a whopping 230 points combined over the last two games, so their offense is cooking right now.
As for Cincinnati, they shot a tepid 37.7 percent from the field in their loss to Xavier and missed half of their 22 free throws. The good news is that the Bearcats were good on the boards (a 48-36 advantage) and had 18 team assists with just nine turnovers. Cincinnati has 74 or more points in three of the last four games, and they’ll need to put up a big number here as well.
