Chattanooga vs. Furman Prediction
I’m backing the over here. This Chattanooga offense has been electric from a metrics standpoint over the course of conference play, with the Mocs ranking first in offensive efficiency, 3-point, and 2-point shooting and posting a solid 75.4% from the foul line. Furman’s defense has been decent, but Chattanooga’s been able to score in bunches all throughout conference play. On the other side, Chattanooga’s defense has been lacking with the worst 3-point defense in conference play, so I expect some positive regression for Furman who launches the 3rd most threes in conference play but is 2nd worst in conference hitting threes at just 29.1%. I think that regresses here and we get an overload of points to get us up and over this total.
