Bellarmine Knights Betting Preview
The Knights managed to go 4-4 over their first eight games this year. The wins in that time came versus Hanover, the Citadel, Houston Christian and Midway University. The next four games were a 1-3 run, with a lone win over Chattanooga alongside losses to Murray State, Northern Kentucky and Kentucky otherwise. That would give the Knights a 5-7 record across their first 12 games.
In the Thursday game versus West Georgia, the Knights were in trouble with a 52-37 deficit at halftime. Bellarmine got it going on a 48-35 second-half run but still lost in the end 87-85 in a tough result. The Knights’ Jack Karasinski led the team on 21 points with eight boards, and Kenyon Goodin chipped in with 20 points and five rebounds. Brian Waddell added 19 points and five boards as well.
Queens Royals Betting Preview
Over on the Queens side, they went 3-5 in their first eight games with losses to Winthrop, Villanova, Duquesne, Furman and Virginia. After wins over Gardner-Webb and South Carolina State, the Royals fell versus Wake Forest, Arkansas and Auburn in the next three. The Royals ended up with a pretty rocky 5-8 record across their first 13 games of the season.
On Thursday versus Eastern Kentucky, the Royals were down by three points at halftime. Queens got better from there on a 45-40 run and ended up powering out the comeback victory 91-89. Jordan Watford led the team on 17 points with four boards and Avantae Parker had 16 points with eight rebounds. Yoav Berman added 14 points with three assists in the win.

Bellarmine vs Queens Prediction
I’ll stick with Bellarmine I suppose. The Knights had a rough first half against West Georgia this week and couldn’t make the comeback despite a valiant effort down the stretch. Bellarmine shot a nice 58 percent from the field in that one with 50 points in the paint and just six turnovers. The Knights have lost four of the last five games, but they’ve scored 76 or more points in four straight as well.
As for Queens, they put up 50.8 percent shooting from the field in their latest game versus Eastern Kentucky, but shot just 5-of-24 (20.8 percent) from outside. The Royals did control the ball well on just six turnovers though, and they scored 50 in the paint. That gives Queens a 1-3 run over the last four games, but they’ve played some tough teams in that time as well.
