Stony Brook only has a couple of wins through eight games. Those came versus Central Michigan and St. Joseph’s NY. Otherwise, it’s been losses to Marquette, George Mason, Yale, Columbia, Brown, and Norfolk State.
In the Norfolk State matchup on Sunday, the Seawolves trailed by a 34-27 margin going into the second half. Stony Brook didn’t end up getting closer in a 77-66 loss. Joe Octave led the team with 17 points with five rebounds in the defeat.
Air Force Falcons Betting Preview
Over on the Air Force side, they’ve only got two wins as well—over Jacksonville State and Mercyhurst. The Falcons’ losses have been versus North Alabama, LIU, Belmont, California, Sacramento State, Wright State, and Miami-OH.
Matched up against the RedHawks in the Monday game, the Falcons held a one-point lead by halftime. Air Force faded from there, however, falling behind 40-30 in a 73-60 loss. Luke Kearney came off the bench to lead the team on 16 points and four boards.

Stony Brook vs Air Force Prediction
I’ll probably lean toward Air Force. Also probably not touching this one as there’s not a lot to get excited about here. That said, the Falcons played pretty well in the first half of a road matchup with Miami-OH in their last outing, eventually shooting a nice 48.9 percent from the field. Air Force was outmuscled on the boards 32-23 though, committing 13 turnovers and going just 4-of-13 (30.8 percent) from the line. The Falcons have been below 62 points in three straight games.
As for Stony Brook, they’ve been below 67 points in four straight outings and don’t generate much confidence these days either. Both teams have their work cut out for them here, so if nothing else we should have a competitive matchup.
