MS Valley State vs Missouri Prediction
I’m going to lean toward Missouri. Probably not touching this one, though. It’s a pretty thick line. The Tigers slowed up in the second half versus Eastern Washington in their most recent appearance but still bagged a reasonably sized win. Missouri shot very well from the field (54.2 percent) and from outside (55.6 percent) in that one, but hit just 71 percent (22-of-31) from the line and could only muster a 28-28 rebounding tie. The 13 turnovers didn’t help either. There’s plenty to clean up on Thursday.
As for MS Valley State, they’re coming off a fairly easy win versus a soft opponent. During their loss to Iowa State in the opener however, the Devils hit just one of their 12 attempts from 3-point range (8.3 percent) and had a whopping 24 turnovers. Missouri should control this one wire to wire, but I’m staying away.
