In this article we will formulate an Argonauts vs Blue Bombers prediction for this CFL game on Friday, July 10th at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this CFL matchup.

Toronto Argonauts Betting Preview

The Toronto Argonauts are 2-2 this season after they lost to the Stampeders by a score of 58-36 last week. Toronto trailed 29-18 at halftime and they allowed 29 more points in the second half for the ugly loss. The Argonauts were out gained by a total of 496-466, went 10-20 on second downs, and lost the turnover battle by a total of 2-1. Chad Kelly threw for 294 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, while also rushing four times for 37 yards and a score. Damonte Coxie caught eight passes for 148 yards and one touchdown in the loss.

Prior to that loss, the Argonauts defeated the Roughriders by a score of 40-34 and the Redblacks by a score of 44-24, and they are currently second in the East Division. The Argonauts have scored 37.5 points per game with 395.8 passing yards and 90.5 rushing yards per game, while they have allowed 38.3 points against per game this season. Chad Kelly has thrown for 1,484 yards, 12 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, while Samuel Hicks has rushed 39 times for 237 yards and one score. Kevin Mital has 19 receptions for 349 yards and one touchdowns this season.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers Betting Preview

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are 2-2 this year after they defeated the Tiger-Cats by a score of 14-13 in week five. Winnipeg trailed 13-4 at halftime, but they scored seven points in the third quarter and three points in the fourth for the win. The Blue Bombers were out gained by a total of 281-200, went 7-19 on second downs, and tied the turnover battle at one in the game. Taylor Elgersma threw for 86 yards and one touchdown, while Ontaria Wilson caught two passes for 39 yards and one score. Brady Oliveira rushed 17 times for 84 yards in the game.

Prior to that win, Winnipeg lost to the Elks by a score of 23-18 and lost to the Tiger-Cats by a score of 37-27, and they are currently third in the West Division. The Blue Bombers have scored 22.3 points per game with 267.8 passing yards and 96.5 rushing yards per game, while they have allowed 25.3 points against per game this season. Dru Brown will start at quarterback this week, as Collaros is out with an injury. Brady Oliveira has rushed 53 times for 306 yards and one touchdown, while Nic Demski has 16 receptions for 228 yards and one score this year.

Argonauts vs Blue Bombers Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup with a 2-2 record, so this is a big game for each side. Toronto has had a solid offensive attack, but they are allowing 38.3 points against per game on defense. Winnipeg has been one of the best defenses in the CFL, but they are using Brown at quarterback, after Collaros got hurt. I think Brown could have a huge game here, as I think he is a dynamic quarterback, so I will side with Winnipeg at home.

David Racey's Pick: Blue Bombers +2.5
