Auburn Tigers Betting Preview
The Tigers have four games in the bag so far this year. The opener on the road versus Baylor turned into a 38-24 victory, and Auburn was able to keep it going in game two on September 6 versus Ball State. The Tigers blew out the Cardinals in that one 42-3. Game three against South Alabama was another victory, as Auburn posted 21 points in the second quarter alone on the way to a 31-15 outcome. The Tigers accounted for 337 yards of offense in that one with 195 on the ground and a 7-of-13 success rate on third-down tries.
In last weekend’s matchup versus Oklahoma, Auburn was down by just three points heading into the fourth quarter but still ended up losing 24-17 after an 11-7 run from there. QB Jackson Arnold was 21-of-32 for 220 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Cobb was the team’s leading rusher with 61 yards on six carries, and Cam Coleman caught three balls for 88 yards and the score.
Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview
Over on the Texas A&M side, they’ve only got three games in the books so far this season—but all have been wins. The first one came in the opener versus UTSA. Texas A&M scored points in every quarter (and gave up points in every quarter as well) during a 42-24 win. The Aggies offense managed 399 yards in that one but went just 3-of-11 on third downs. In game two versus Utah State, Texas A&M jumped out to a 30-6 halftime lead. The Aggies scored a couple more times down the stretch during a 44-22 win. This time the offense generated 554 yards with 235 of those coming on the ground.
In their game three matchup versus Notre Dame back on September 13, the Aggies were in for a fight. Texas A&M scored 21 points in the second quarter alone on the way to a 41-40 victory on the road. QB Marcel Reed logged 360 pass yards on 17-of-37 for two touchdowns and an interception, and Le’Veon Moss led the rush with 20 totes for 81 yards and three scores. Mario Craver was the big man in the receiving game with seven grabs for 207 yards and a score of his own.

Auburn vs Texas A&M Prediction
I’m going to take a stab on Texas A&M, but you could call this one either way. The Aggies have had some extra time to rest after their big win versus Notre Dame. In the road victory, Texas A&M posted 488 yards (360 passing), 7.1 yards per play and 24 first downs but went just 4-of-11 on third-down tries. The 13 penalties for 86 yards didn’t help matters either. Defensively Texas A&M gave up 429 yards with 293 of those coming through the air. That makes at least 22 points surrendered in all three games so far.
As for Auburn, they played pretty close to Oklahoma in a tricky road matchup last weekend, but their 17 points were the lowest total of the season. The Tigers will likely need a little more than that in order to cover this weekend.
Andrew Jett's Pick: Texas A&M Aggies -7
