Tulane Green Wave Betting Preview
Tulane beat Southeastern Louisiana in their opener this year, then fell to Kansas State and Oklahoma in the next pair. The Wave would hit a winning streak after that, however, beating Louisiana, South Florida, and UAB in a three-game stretch.
In the Rice matchup last weekend, the Wave posted a 14-3 second-half advantage in a 24-10 victory. Darian Mensah finished with 152 yards and a TD. Makhi Hughes led the rush with 140 yards and a score off 27 carries.
North Texas Mean Green Betting Preview
Over on the North Texas side, they took out South Alabama and Stephen F. Austin in their first pair before a blowout loss to Texas Tech. The Mean Green would then beat Wyoming, Tulsa, and Florida Atlantic over the next three outings.
Matched up against Memphis, North Texas went into the fourth quarter trailing 35-31 and ultimately lost a tough one 52-44. Chandler Morris finished with 445 pass yards, three TDs, and an interception (with a rush score). DT Sheffield caught eight balls for 122 yards and two scores.

Tulane vs North Texas Prediction
I’ll stay with North Texas. The Green took a tough loss against a good Memphis team over the weekend, but the offensive stats were good. North Texas posted 653 total yards (445 passing), 6.7 yards per play, and 32 first downs. The two turnovers didn’t help though, nor did the 12-of-26 rate on third- and fourth-down conversions.
As for Tulane, they registered five takeaways from Rice in their last game, holding the Owls to just 16 first downs and 5-of-13 on third-down conversions. Offensively the Wave were pretty well balanced on 306 yards (152 passing) but they really didn’t get going until late. It’ll be tough for Tulane to keep pace with North Texas if the Mean Green play to their capabilities.
