Air Force Falcons Betting Preview
Air Force kicked off their season with a manageable matchup versus Merrimack. The Falcons didn’t have too many issues there and pulled off a 21-6 win. In game two versus San Jose State, however, Air Force took their first loss, falling 17-7.
In their last matchup versus Baylor back on September 14, the Falcons had their hands full. Air Force was only down 6-3 by the break but couldn’t score from there in a 31-3 blowout loss. Josh Johnson led a meager passing attack with 18 yards off a single completion. Cade Harris led the rush on 71 yards from seven carries.
Wyoming Cowboys Betting Preview
Over on the Wyoming side, their 2024 campaign began with a series of losses. The first one came in blowout fashion 48-7 versus Arizona State, then game two was a much closer 17-13 loss to Idaho. Game three was another loss, this time 34-14 against BYU.
In last weekend’s matchup with North Texas, Wyoming was outscored 17-0 in the second half during a 44-17 loss. QB Evan Svoboda had 155 yards and an interception along the way. John Michael Gyllenborg led the receivers with five catches for 56 yards.

Air Force vs Wyoming Prediction
I’ll lean toward Wyoming here. The Cowboys need a good bounce-back effort after a rough game versus North Texas, though. Wyoming posted 244 yards (69 rushing), 15 first downs, and 4-of-14 on third-down conversions in a pretty limp offensive outing there. On the other side, the Cowboys gave up 534 yards (318 passing), 7.1 yards per play, and 28 first downs.
As for Air Force, they’ve had an extra week to rest and attempt to add another dimension to their offense. The Falcons notched just 218 yards (25 passing), 12 first downs, and three turnovers in their latest loss to Baylor, who shot themselves in the proverbial foot with three lost fumbles. Air Force hasn’t posted more than 71 pass yards yet this year, so we still probably won’t see too many attempts here. I don’t think the Falcons will be able to keep a cover pace like that, but they should match up better versus the Cowboys.
