I’ll stay with Sam Houston. The Bearkats looked pretty good against Hawaii—outside of the passing game, that is. Sam Houston threw for just 165 yards and had two turnovers (one interception). Aside from that, the rushing attack picked up 257 yards and helped gather 22 first downs in the win.
As for New Mexico State, there’s not much to be happy about concerning their blowout loss last weekend. The Aggies collected just 138 yards (61 passing) and 10 first downs while going just 3-of-16 on third-down tries and coughing up three interceptions. New Mexico State has a lot to work on in practice this week.
