The Hoosiers outgained Western Illinois by a total of 703-121, forced three turnovers, and went 7-9 on third down in the win. Kurtis Rourke threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns, while Justice Ellison rushed for 117 yards and two scores on nine carries. 

Indiana defeated FIU by a score of 31-7 in their first game of the season and even though they have played two easy opponents, the defense has looked very strong. The Indiana offense is scoring 54 points per game with 279 passing yards and 278.5 rushing yards per game, while the defense is allowing 5.0 points per game. The Hoosiers are 57.9% on third downs and 2-4 on fourth downs so far this season. Kurtis Rourke has completed 73.2% of his passes for 448 yards and three touchdowns, while Justice Ellison has rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns. 

UCLA Bruins Betting Preview

The UCLA Bruins are 1-0 this season after they defeated Hawaii by a score of 16-13 in their first game. UCLA failed to score any points in the first half and trailed 10-0 at halftime. The Bruins trailed 13-10 in the fourth quarter, but they got two field goals to win the game. UCLA outgained Hawaii by a total of 343-278, won the turnover battle 3-2, and went 4-13 on third downs in the win. Ethan Garbers threw for 272 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while also rushing for 47 yards in the game. 

UCLA had a bye week in week two, so they have an extra week to prepare for this one. The Bruins did not play very well offensively in their first game, as they only rushed for 51 yards and had two turnovers. It is never easy to play at Hawaii, but they need to clean some things up if they want to be competitive in the Big Ten. 

Indiana vs UCLA Prediction 

Indiana has played two very weak teams to start the season, but they have taken care of business and have outscored them 108-10. The Hoosiers look like they could be competitive this season, but this will be a tough road trip with the long travel and dealing with the heat. UCLA looked pretty rough in their first game, but they have the benefit of coming off of a bye week. I am very interested to see how both teams do against similar competition, but I have to give the edge to Indiana, as they have executed much better early in the season.
