How Good is Alabama?

Alabama might have a 2-0 record and both of the final scores look really good, but don’t let that fool you, they were really tested in the last game against South Florida. In the first game against Western Kentucky, Alabama was able to secure a 63-0 victory and in the last game against South Florida, they were able to 42-16 victory. At half time they were only up 14-6 and at one point it looked like South Florida was going to score a touchdown to tie the game but it didn’t happen and in the 4th quarter, they outscored South Florida 28-3.

Jalen Milroe completed 17 of his 27 for 199 yards and two touchdowns. Jamarion Miller had a huge game on the ground rushing 15 times for 140 yards and a touchdown. In this game, Alabama needs to get out to a faster start to put the pressure on. 

Wisconsin Can Make a Statement

Wisconsin has won their first two games of the season, but neither of the games looked all that good. In the first game against Western Michigan, they won 28-14 and in the last game, they won 27-13 to FCS level South Dakota. The hope was the offense would look better this year, but so far that hasn’t been the case. In the last game against South Dakota, they jumped out to a 14-0 lead but took their foot off the gas. 

Under center for the Badgers is Tyler Van Dyke he completed 17 of his 27 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Cade Yacamelli finished with eight carries for 73 yards. The defense has been decent the first couple of games, but they are going to need to play even better to make a statement here. 

Alabama vs Wisconsin Prediction

Alabama struggled in the last game and I have some major concerns about what they are going to do here here. They are facing a much better defensive team here in Wisconsin and the Badgers defense is going to step up. The Wisconsin offense might not run up the score, but they are going to score enough to keep this game close. Wisconsin will keep it within a touchdown and they are going to cover the spread.
