The Las Vegas Aces and the Seattle Storm meet Sunday in WNBA action from Climate Pledge Arena. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Las Vegas Aces vs. Seattle Storm prediction.

Matchup History

The Las Vegas Aces won the most recent meeting between these two teams back on September 24th, 2024, for their fifth straight head-to-head victory over the Storm, and it also secured the playoff series sweep for the Aces.

Las Vegas Aces Recap

The Las Vegas Aces come into this game looking to build on their 75-72 win over the Washington Mystics last time out to improve to 2-1 on the year. After this game, the Aces will head back home for a matchup with the Los Angeles Sparks.

Aces Snag Back-To-Back Wins

A’Ja Wilson leads the Aces across the board with 22.7 PPG along with 12.7 RPG to go along with 4 APG and 2.3 SPG while Jackie Young has 19 PPG with 4.3 RPG and 3.3 APG as well this season. Jewell Loyd’s added 11.3 PPG with 4 RPG and Chelsea Gray has chipped in 13.7 PPG with 4.3 RPG and 3.3 APG to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Las Vegas so far this season. Dana Evans has also chipped in 6.7 PPG with 2.7 APG as well this season. As a team, Las Vegas is averaging 80 PPG on 35.8% shooting from the field, 31.9% from three and 87.3% from the foul line this season.

Seattle Storm Recap

The Seattle Storm come into this game looking to keep things rolling after picking up a 77-70 win over the Phoenix Mercury last time out to improve to 2-1 on the year. After this game, the Storm will head on the road for a game against the Minnesota Lynx.

Storm Pick Up Consecutive Wins As Well

Skylar Diggins leads the Storm in scoring and assists with 22 PPG and 9 APG along with 2 SPG while Nneka Ogwumike has 19.7 PPG with 11 RPG to lead the Storm on the glass, averaging a double-double per game. Gabby Williams has 10.7 PPG with 3.7 APG and 2.3 SPG as well this season to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Seattle. Ezi Magbegor also has 7.7 RPG and 2.3 APG as well so far this season. As a team, Seattle is averaging 71.7 PPG on 40.6% shooting from the field, 34% from three and 71.7% from the foul line so far this season.

Las Vegas Aces vs. Seattle Storm Prediction

I’m backing the Aces here. There’s a lot of things at play in favor of the Storm here, the playoff revenge angle and I’m sure a couple of these players would love to get one over on Jewell Loyd who is facing her former team for the first time. However, I’m still not sold on the Storm without Loyd as we’ve yet to see them really face a team in the upper tier of the WNBA. I will give Seattle credit for getting their revenge win over Phoenix last time out, but I think there’s just levels to this and the Storm aren’t on that level. Give me the Aces in this one.

Chris Ruffolo's Pick: Las Vegas Aces -4
