Victoria Mboko and Karolina Muchova square off in the quarterfinal of the 2026 Miami Open on Tuesday, March 24. Here’s our Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Muchova prediction. This preview will also include a Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Muchova pick.

Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Muchova Preview

Victoria Mboko beat Mirra Andreeva in the round of the 16 Miami Open, with the match taking 29 games to decide. Mboko edged out Andreeva in the opening set tiebreak, which lasted an hour, and although Andreeva leveled the match by being the only one to break serve in the second set, Mboko established clear daylight in the decider, where she completed a bagel set (6-0) in 33 minutes to clinch a three-set victory.

In the victory, Mboko hit 8 aces and accumulated 10 double faults. Mboko landed 69% of first serves in play and won 80% of first serve points (51/64). Mboko won 41% of second serve points (12/29) and saved three of four break points on her serve. This is her first quarterfinal at the Miami Open. Before this, Mboko had knocked out Anna Blinkova and Anastasia Zakharova without the loss of a set.

Karolina Muchova continued her fine run of form at WTA 1000s. Having captured the biggest title of her career in Doha last month, Muchova is through to the quarterfinals of the Miami Open for the first time, thanks to wins over Camila Osorio, Katie Boulter and more recently, against the Philippines’ rising star Alexandra Eala.

The win over Eala took just 14 games to decide, as Muchova routinely beat the Filipina in straight sets in an hour. Muchova landed 69% of first serves in play and won 80% of first serve points (20/25). She won 73% of second serve points (8/11) and did not face a break point on her serve. Muchova improves to 17-3 for the season and is inching closer to a Top 10 return.

Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Muchova Head-To-Head

Mboko and Muchova met in the WTA Doha final last month. Muchova beat the Canadian in straight sets to win her second Tour level title.

Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Muchova Prediction

This will be a rematch of the Doha final and I fancy the outcome to be the same. Yes, Mboko is a fearless hitter and has the power to overwhelm opponents. Her footwork is brilliant and she’s very fast in those lateral moments on the baseline. But big-match control, variety and timing are with Muchova and that all-court mix tends to unravel the big hitters over time. Expect that to be the difference maker.

Nur Said's Pick: Karolina Muchova in three sets
