Boisson then defeated Elsa Jacquemot in a three-setter, ensuring there will be a Frenchwoman in the second week. But nobody expected Boisson to advance further when she came up against Pegula. But Boisson completed one of the greatest upsets of the season by making a mockery of the over 300 spots gulf in ranking.
