Mirra Andreeva and Lois Boisson meet in the quarterfinals of the 2025 French Open at Roland Garros. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4. Here’s our Mirra Andreeva vs Lois Boisson prediction. This preview will also include a Mirra Andreeva vs Lois Boisson pick.

Mirra Andreeva Preview

Mirra Andreeva is through to her second French Open quarterfinal after seeing off her good friend Daria Kasatkina in the last 16. Andreeva won the first set 6-3 with just one break of serve. She led 3-1 in the second set before Kasatkina levelled the score at 3-3 with her first break of Andreeva’s serve. And the World No. 17 broke again for a 5-3 lead. But she failed to serve for the set and had a set point in the subsequent game on Andreeva’s serve, but that was immediately saved. Andreeva won two more games to close out the match in straight sets.

Andreeva finished the match with 28 winners and 28 unforced errors. She accounted for three aces. Andreeva landed 68% of first serves in play and won 70% of first serve points (35/50). She won 48% of second serve points (11/23) and saved three of five breakpoints. Andreeva has not dropped a set in the tournament. She has also beaten Cristina Bucsa, Ashlyn Krueger, and Yulia Putitseva to get here. Last year, she finished as a semifinalist. Andreeva has an 11-3 record on clay this season.

Lois Boisson Preview

Lois Boisson won an incredible fourth-round match against third seed Jessica Pegula to reach the French Open quarterfinals. It’s her best ever run in a Grand Slam, and comes hot on the heels of a career resurgence this season. Boisson had never won a Grand Slam match before this tournament and had lost in all three previous qualifying editions at Roland Garros.

But she’s repaid the tournament with her wild card entrant. In the first round, she took down former Top 20 Elise Mertens in three sets before backing it up with a stunning straight-sets win against Anhelina Kalinina. Boisson then defeated Elsa Jacquemot in a three-setter, ensuring there will be a Frenchwoman in the second week. But nobody expected Boisson to advance further when she came up against Pegula. But Boisson completed one of the greatest upsets of the season by making a mockery of the over 300 spots gulf in ranking.

Mirra Andreeva vs Lois Boisson Head-To-Head

Andreeva and Boisson have never met at any level. This quarterfinal match will be their first meeting.

Mirra Andreeva vs Lois Boisson Prediction

This is a historic run from Boisson and easily one of the major stories in this year’s French Open. Of all the fourth-round matches, Boisson’s name was probably the least favored to be among the eight women in the quarters. But I don’t see her getting past Andreeva, who is among the favorites for the title. The 18-year-old will deal with those sidespinning slices balls much better than Pegula. Andreeva can also inject pace and vary her shot execution, extinguishing all of Boisson’s strengths. Give me a routine straight sets win from Andreeva.

Nur Said's Pick: Mirra Andreeva in straight sets
