Jannik Sinner will face Alexander Zverev for a spot in the 2026 ATP Monte Carlo Masters final. The match is scheduled for Saturday, April 11. Here’s our Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev prediction. This preview will also include a Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev pick.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Preview

Jannik Sinner is coming off his 20th consecutive win at the Masters 1000 level. It is a feat that puts him in illustrious company with the Big Three of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic as the only men to do so since the series was incepted over three decades ago. This week, Sinner had extended his record-breaking feat of winning 37 consecutive sets at this level, until it was shattered in the last 16 against Tomas Machac, but he eventually got the job done in three sets to progress.

The World No. 2 had a more comfortable quarterfinal where he dispatched Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-4 in under two hours. Sinner hit 18 winners to 23 unforced errors in the victory. Sinner won 79% of first serve points (26/33) and 71% of second serve points (17/24). He faced one break point in the match, which he saved. Sinner improves to 22-2 for the season and is chasing his third successive title of 2026. This is his third semifinal at the Monte Carlo Masters.

Alexander Zverev, meanwhile, defeated Brazil’s rising star Joao Fonseca in three sets. The German was pushed to his limits in the quarterfinal, but summoned the willpower and offensive efficiency to reach the semifinal in Monte Carlo for the first time since 2022. Zverev prevailed 7-5, 6-7, 6-3 in two hours and 42 minutes.

Zverev fired 25 winners to 36 unforced errors in the match. He won 72% of first serve points (50/69) and 54% of second serve points (19/35). Zverev saved one of three break points in the match on his serve. Before this round, Zverev defeated Cristian Garin in three punishing sets where he rallied from a break deficit in the third and then knocked out Zizou Bergs in straight sets.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Head-To-Head

Sinner and Zverev have played 12 times at all levels. Sinner leads the head-to-head 8-4, winning their last seven meetings.

Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Prediction

This has become a horrible matchup for Zverev and it’s more of a psychological barrier than ability at this point for the German. This will be the third meeting between them this season and I don’t see any reason why the outcome will be different this time. Clay may not be Sinner’s forte, but the Italian’s forehand still retains its shape and accuracy, and with additional time on the ball, that can only work to his advantage.
