Jannik Sinner is coming off his 20th consecutive win at the Masters 1000 level. It is a feat that puts him in illustrious company with the Big Three of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic as the only men to do so since the series was incepted over three decades ago. This week, Sinner had extended his record-breaking feat of winning 37 consecutive sets at this level, until it was shattered in the last 16 against Tomas Machac, but he eventually got the job done in three sets to progress. The World No. 2 had a more comfortable quarterfinal where he dispatched Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-4 in under two hours. Sinner hit 18 winners to 23 unforced errors in the victory. Sinner won 79% of first serve points (26/33) and 71% of second serve points (17/24). He faced one break point in the match, which he saved. Sinner improves to 22-2 for the season and is chasing his third successive title of 2026. This is his third semifinal at the Monte Carlo Masters.
