The last game for Italy came in the UEFA’s EURO Round of 16 against Switzerland. They were defeated 2-0 in that game. Italy had 51 percent of the possession but they had only one shot on target and that led to the defeat. Gianluca Scamacca recently suffered an ACL injury and is going to be out for a while. This Italy team looks a lot different than the squad they called up for the Euros. Marco Brescianini, Caleb Okoli, Destiny Udogie, Moise Kean, and Sandro Tonali have all been called up to the squad and at least a few could end up seeing soe playing time here. 

France vs Italy Prediction

Italy isn’t playing with a full crew and they are going to struggle here. France is going to get to a fast offensive start here and that is going to be the difference here. Italy isn’t going to even have a quality scoring chance here, and this game is going to get out of control early. France will score two or three goals and this game is going to be a comfortable victory here. Back France on the money line.
