Colorado has started the season with great defense, as they have allowed just one goal in each of their first two games. The Avalanche will be at home for this contest, but it is never easy to beat Dallas. The Stars dominated the first 50 minutes against Winnipeg, but they lost focus and nearly blew the lead. This should be a great game between two division rivals, but I am siding with Colorado and their strong defensive start.
