Cincinnati Bengals Betting Preview

The Cincinnati Bengals are 8-8 this year after they defeated Denver in overtime by a score of 30-24 in their last game. Cincinnati led 24-17 late in the game, but they allowed Denver to force overtime, before picking up the win with about a minute left in the overtime. Prior to that win, the Bengals defeated the Browns by a score of 24-6 and the Titans by a score of 37-27. Cincinnati has won four games in a row and they are clinging to postseason hopes, but they need to win and get some help. The Bengals started the season by losing eight of their first 12 games, which really put them in a hole. Joe Burrow has completed 69.8% of his passes for 4,641 yards, 42 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, while Ja’Marr Chase has caught 117 passes for 1,612 yards and 16 scores this year.

Russell Wilson threw for 205 yards and one interception, while Najee Harris rushed for 74 yards on 13 carries in the game.

Prior to that loss, the Steelers lost to Baltimore by a score of 34-17 and Philadelphia by a score of 27-13. Pittsburgh has lost three games in a row and four of their last six, and they are second in the AFC North behind Baltimore. The Pittsburgh offense has scored 22.7 points per game with 196.6 passing yards and 130.8 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 20.5 points per game this season. Russell Wilson has completed 64.6% of his passes for 2,334 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions, while George Pickens has caught 58 passes for 900 yards and three scores this season. It doesn’t sound like Pittsburgh is going to rest their starters for this game, but it is a possibility.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction

Cincinnati comes into this matchup desperately needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, while Pittsburgh is looking to gain some momentum heading into the postseason. The Steelers have played pretty poorly over the last three weeks, but they did beat Cincinnati by a score of 44-38 back on December 1st. Cincinnati has one of the best offenses in the NFL, but their defense is one of the worst. I know Pittsburgh has said they probably won’t rest their starters, but I find that hard to believe if the game is meaningless. I think Cincinnati will have all of the motivation in this spot and with Burrow under center, I think they can keep the winning streak going. Take the Bengals here.
