In overtime, they got the ball first, and they still ended up losing by three. The defense was awful and they really struggled to slow down Sam Darnold who threw for 330 yards and two touchdowns. Caleb Williams did have a strong offensive game completing 32 of his 47 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns. One issue for the Bears was they couldn’t get the run game going and Williams was the top rusher finishing with six carries for 33 yards. 

The Bears overall this season are averaging 20.09 points while their defense is giving up 19.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 22nd in the league while their defense is ranked 8th. Defensive tackle Elijah Hicks is dealing an ankle injury and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game. 

Lions Just Keep Rolling

The Lions just keep rolling and they come into this game with a 10-1 record overall. On Sunday the Lions faced off against the Indianapolis Colts and they were able to secure the 24-6 victory. At halftime, they were up 14-6 and they never looked back on the way to the win. Quarterback Jared Goff has completed 26 of his 36 passes for 269 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Jahmyr Gibbs finished with 21 carries for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Jameson Williams finished with five catches for 64 yards. The Lions are averaging 32.7 points while their defense is giving up 16.6 points per game. 

The offense is ranked 1st in the NFL and the defense is ranked 2nd. Barring any major injuries the Lions look like they have the team to win the Super Bowl. Cornerback Terrion Arnold is dealing with a groin injury and is questionable for this game.
