Detroit Lions Betting Preview
The Lions started things out this year with a win over the Rams and a loss to the Buccaneers. Detroit hit a nice win streak after that, however, taking out the Cardinals, Seahawks, Cowboys, Vikings, Titans, Packers, and Texans in that stretch.
In their Sunday matchup with the Jaguars, Detroit scored double-digit points in each of the final three quarters along the way to a 52-6 blowout victory. QB Jared Goff logged 412 yards with four touchdowns. Two scores went to Amon-Ra St. Brown, who caught 11 balls for 161 yards.
Indianapolis Colts Betting Preview
Over on the Colts’ side, they went 3-3 over their first six with wins over the Bears, Steelers, and Titans alongside losses to the Texans, Jaguars, and Packers otherwise. Indianapolis would then beat the Dolphins before losses to the Texans, Vikings, and Bills.
In their game versus the Jets on Sunday, the Colts were up 13-7 going into the second half but blew their lead in the third quarter. Indy scored 12 fourth-quarter points for a 28-27 thriller win, though. QB Anthony Richardson put up 272 yards with one TD and also scored two rush touchdowns.

Detroit Lions vs Indianapolis Colts Prediction
I’ll lean toward Detroit. The Lions pummeled Jacksonville on Sunday, roaring to 645 yards (449 passing), 8.5 yards per play, and 38 first downs. On defense, Detroit gave up just 170 yards (129 passing), 10 first downs, and 2-of-10 on third-down tries. That makes 24 or more points in seven straight games for Detroit, who has won eight straight.
As for Indianapolis, they gave up just 253 yards (162 passing), 10 first downs, and 4-of-13 on third-down conversions to the lowly Jets but still had to surge in the fourth quarter to get a win. The Colts will certainly have their hands full with Detroit this weekend and I don’t think they’ll get close enough to cover—even at home.
