Minnesota opened up their year with a 5-0 run featuring victories over the Giants, 49ers, Texans, Packers, and Jets in succession. The Vikings would then fall to the Lions and Rams over the next pair for a 5-2 record through seven games.
In the matchup versus the Colts on Sunday night, Minnesota went into the second half trailing 7-0. The Vikings rallied from there to pull out a 21-13 comeback win. Sam Darnold logged 290 yards with three scores and two interceptions. Justin Jefferson had a good day receiving with seven grabs for 137 yards.

Over on the Jacksonville side, they started out at 0-4 with losses to the Dolphins, Browns, Bills, and Texans. The Jags finally got a win over the Colts in game five, then fell to the Bears. The next pair was a win over the Patriots ahead of a loss to the Packers 30-27.
The Jaguars took on the Eagles last weekend. In that one, Jacksonville faced a 16-0 deficit at the start of the second half. The Jags made a comeback bid but fell short 28-23. Trevor Lawrence had 169 yards with a pair of interceptions, and Travis Etienne led the rush on just 24 yards from three totes.

Minnesota Vikings vs Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction
I’ll go with Minnesota. The Vikings had a rough first half against the Colts in their last game, eventually posting three turnovers. To their credit Minnesota cleaned up their act in the second, ultimately giving up just 227 yards (159 passing) and 13 first downs. In the end, it was a pretty solid overall effort to halt a two-game skid.
As for Jacksonville, they’re coming off a rough loss to the Eagles. The Jags had three turnovers in that one and posted just 215 yards (155 passing) with 4.2 yards per play. On defense, Jacksonville gave up a ton of rush yards (237) as Philly held the ball for 38:12 of game time. I like the Jags to hang around for a while in this one but Minnesota should control things.
