The Eagles were able to get back into the win column in game five versus the Browns. Philadelphia held a 10-6 advantage in the second half during a 20-16 win. QB Jalen Hurts finished with 264 yards and two scores, while Saquon Barkley led the rush on 47 yards off 18 carries.

New York took another notch in the loss column this past weekend. The Giants were within a field goal of the Bengals heading into the fourth quarter but ended up losing 17-7. Daniel Jones threw for 205 yards and an interception, also leading the rush with 11 carries for 56 yards.

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants Prediction
I’m going to stay with the Eagles. Philly’s defense was the star of the show over the weekend versus the Browns, despite having to stay on the field for 31:27 of game time and failing to register a takeaway. The Eagles held Cleveland to 244 total yards (144 passing), 14 first downs, and just 3-of-12 on third-down tries. Philadelphia’s offense hasn’t gotten past 21 points in any of the last four games, though.
As for New York, they posted just 5-of-15 on third-down tries in their latest loss to Cincinnati and couldn’t get much going on offense. Defensively the team was solid though, holding the Bengals to 13 first downs and 4-of-11 on third downs. All things considered though, I trust Philly’s offense more than I do New York’s right now.
