Dallas Cowboys Betting Preview
The Cowboys got off to a nice start this year, taking out the Cleveland Browns 33-17 in their opener. Dallas came back down to earth in the next two outings, falling to the Saints 44-19 and the Ravens 28-25 to drop to 1-2 on the young season.
Game four against the rival New York Giants was a road win for Dallas—but a close one. The Cowboys put up points in every quarter (and allowed points in every quarter) in a 20-15 result. Dak Prescott posted 221 passing yards and two scores, while CeeDee Lamb caught seven balls for 98 yards and a TD.
Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
Over on the Steelers’ side, they kicked off the 2024 season with a nice string of victories. Pittsburgh beat the Falcons 18-10 in their opener, then took out the Broncos 13-6 on the road. Game three was another win, this time 20-10 over the Chargers.
Pittsburgh ran into some trouble with a road matchup against the Colts last weekend. The Steelers were down 17-3 by halftime and eventually fell 27-24. Justin Fields posted 312 pass yards and a TD while also leading the rush on 10 carries for 55 yards and two more scores.

Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction
I’m leaning Steelers. Pittsburgh posted 404 total yards (282 passing) and 23 first downs against the Colts, but a slow start and a couple of lost fumbles torpedoed any hope the Steelers had in that game. Pittsburgh also gave up eight of 15 third-down tries and had zero takeaways on defense. For most of the game, it was a pretty listless performance on one or both sides. Pittsburgh needs a good rebound this weekend.
As for Dallas, they weren’t exactly dominant in their win over a struggling Giants team last weekend. The Cowboys had 293 total yards (80 rushing), 14 first downs, and a whopping 11 penalties for 89 yards in that one. The defense was pretty good overall though, giving up just 26 rush yards, 16 first downs, and 5-of-16 on third-down conversions. This one’s got the makings of a lower-scoring slugfest if both defenses are on point. Should be a fun game to finish off the Sunday slate.
