Indianapolis Colts Recap
The Indianapolis Colts come into this one off of a narrow 29-27 season-opening loss to the Houston Texans last time out. After this game, the Colts will head back home to welcome the Chicago Bears to town.

Anthony Richardson threw for 212 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception on 9 of 19 passing while also rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown. Why the Indianapolis Colts will win
- The favorites have won each of the Colts' last 13 games.
- The Packers have lost three of their last four games when playing with a rest advantage.
- The Colts have covered the spread in each of their last eight games against NFC North opponents.
- The Packers have failed to cover the spread in three of their last four games against AFC South opponents.
Green Bay Packers Recap
The Green Bay Packers come into this one looking to bounce back after a 34-29 season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last time out. After this game, Green Bay will head south to take on the Tennessee Titans.
Packers Suffer More Than One Loss In Opener
Jordan Love threw for 260 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception on 17 of 34 passing but suffered a serious lower leg injury in the dying seconds of that game, ruling him out for at least the next 4-6 weeks. Josh Jacobs led the Packers with 84 rushing yards on 16 carries while Emanuel Wilson added 46 rushing yards. Jayden Reed led the Packers with 4 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for a 33-yard TD as well. Romeo Doubs added 4 grabs for 50 yards while Christian Watson added a touchdown reception as well in the loss. On defense, Quay Walker and Javon Bullard each had a team-high 11 total tackles with 7 solo tackles while Keisean Nixon and Rashan Gary each had a sack and Jaire Alexander and Xavier McKinney each had an interception as well for the Packers in the losing effort.
Why the Green Bay Packers will win
- The Packers have won each of their last 11 home openers.
- The Colts have lost four of their last five Week 2 games as favorites.
- The Packers have covered the spread in each of their last six Week 2 games.
- The Colts have failed to cover the spread in each of their last five September games as road favorites.
Colts vs. Packers Prediction
It may end up being a very popular pick, but I’m on the Colts here. I just think that the drop-off from Jordan Love to Malik Willis is so significant and while the Packers will be on more solid ground than whatever that field was in Brazil, I don’t think it’s enough. I think the Colts’ defense steps up here and the Colts run away with it.
Chris’s Pick Indianapolis -3.5
