The Milwaukee Bucks have been in a real slump as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a four-game slide after getting beaten by the Wizards in a 109-99 road loss on Thursday. Myles Turner led the team with 21 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks, Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis each scored 19 points while Ryan Rollins chipped in with 17 points, eight assists and four steals. As a team, the Bucks shot 42 percent from the field and 10 of 38 from the 3-point line as they struggled to get going and scored just 43 points in the first half to fall into an early 18-point deficit which is a shame because they played much better in the second half and were able to cut the deficit to just two points with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter before the Wizards scored the final eight points to slip away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in pretty good form lately as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the slumping Kings in a 112-93 home win on Friday. Payton Pritchard led the team with 29 points and eight assists on 12 of 16 shooting, Baylor Scheierman and Anfernee Simons each scored 16 points while Nemias Queta chipped in with 10 points, 15 rebounds and three steals. As a team, the Celtics shot 45 percent from the field and 18 of 48 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 40 points in the first quarter to set up a 36-point lead at halftime which allowed them to cruise the rest of the way. Derrick White had a quiet game of just seven points while Hugo Gonzalez shot just one of eight from the field to finish with two points off the bench.

The Bucks are still missing Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Porter Jr, while the Celtics have ruled out Jayson Tatum once again. The Bucks have been one of the coldest teams in the league lately, they are still missing their two best players and are coming into this one fresh off a bad loss to the lowly Wizards. In contrast, the Celtics have been in great form and they just smashed the Kings despite missing most of their starting lineup on Friday and now they have Jaylen Brown back in the lineup. The line was always going to be hefty for this matchup, but it’s still not high enough to sway me from backing the Celtics to handle the ice-cold Bucks with ease at home in this spot.
