The Indiana Pacers have been doing it tough lately as they’ve dropped six of their last nine games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting beaten by the slumping Jazz in a 131-122 loss on Tuesday. Jarace Walker led the starters with 24 points, six rebounds and four assists, Quenton Jackson provided the spark off the bench with 24 points on nine of 10 shooting while Johnny Furphy chipped in with 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Pacers shot 54 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line as they poured in 32 points in the first quarter to take an early 10-point lead, but that didn’t last long at all as the scores were already tied by halftime. We kept waiting for the Pacers to fight back in front, but they leaked 75 points in the second half and didn’t have a response after falling behind in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks are trying to move on from their season-worst slump as they are now aiming for a third straight victory after outlasting the Pelicans in a 141-137 overtime win on Wednesday. Ryan Rollins led the team with 27 points on 10 of 19 shooting, AJ Green added 20 points on seven of 13 shooting while Kevin Porter chipped in with 18 points, six rebounds and nine assists off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot a sizzling 61 percent from the field and 21 of 47 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sluggish start and trailed for most of the first half, before they rallied to force the game into overtime where they opened with a crucial 7-2 run to escape with gritty win at home.

The Pacers haven’t yet said if the newly acquired Ivica Zubac will play in this one, but there’s plenty of good news with Pascal Siakam, Aaron Nesmith, TJ McConnell and Andrew Nembhard set to return, while the have ruled out Giannis Antetokounmpo and Gary Harris. It’s hard to split these two teams at the moment as both teams have been struggling, but the Pacers rested their starters in their last game, so they will be ready to go against the Bucks who were ice-cold before their overtime win on Wednesday. This is a game I would rather stay away from, but if I had to choose, I would lean towards the Pacers to get a much needed win on the road.
