Evan Mobley led the team with 27 points, 14 rebounds and four assists on 11 of 17 shooting, Darius Garland added 21 points with eight assists while Donovan Mitchell chipped in with 18 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 46 percent from the field and 20 of 52 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and struggled to keep pace with the Celtics, falling behind by as many as 21 points which proved to be just enough to hold off the Cavaliers who cut their lead to just one point with 1.2 seconds left in the game.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers look to be turning the corner as they are now aiming for a season-high third straight victory after outlasting the Bulls in a 103-101 win on Saturday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists on 11 of 23 shooting, Bennedict Mathurin added 19 points while Jay Huff and Andrew Nembhard each scored 14 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 41 from the 3-point line as they looked headed for trouble after squandering an 11-point lead to fall behind by seven points late in the fourth quarter, before the Pacers closed the final 4:29 on a 13-4 run to pull off their second straight win.

The Cavaliers are still missing Sam Merrill, Max Strus, Lonzo Ball and Jarrett Allen, while the Pacers have ruled out Tyrese Haliburton, Obi Toppin, Aaron Nesmith and Johnny Furphy once again. The Cavaliers haven’t been at their best lately as they’ve been dealing with injuries and they are playing their second game of a back to back set following last night’s tough loss to the Celtics. The Pacers were absolutely ice-cold for a while there, but they are starting to turn things around with a couple solid wins in a row. I might be tempted to take the Pacers if the bookies were giving us more points, but even though the Cavaliers are playing on zero days rest, I think they bounce back with a win and cover at this modest line.
